History of Google!!

Google is the most widely used web-based search engines in the world. Google began in march 1996 as a reasearch project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin at Standford. orignally the search engine used the Stanford website with the domain google.stanford.edu.

The name "Google" orignated from a misspelling of "googol", which referst to the number represented by a 1 followed by one hundres zeros. In 2000 Google began selling adverstisements associated with search keywords. the ads were texted based to maintain an uncluttered pags design and to maximize page loading speed. Google is now the most popular search engine, the second search engine is Bing a MS search engine, but google still dominates the market.

Semester Almost Over!!

A few more days and this semester is officially over!!!  I under estimated this class( Cabt160), there was alot of homework and i must admit, i fell behind and now worried about my grade.  I guess its something that i will have to wait and see when grades are out.  I worked hard this semester!! this semester i finished my 9th math class taken at cabrillo.  I still cant believe it when i thnk about it.  I hope everyone has a great week and good luck on your finals!!!!   I hope we all get A's!!!!

About Me

My name is Jose Lemus, i was born and raised in Watsonville, California. I graduated WHS in june 2002 and two weeks after my graduation i was on a one way flight to Goergia (basic training). For some reason i decided to join the U.S Army my senior year in HS(before 911).  I enlisted with the 82nd Airborne Division and eventually did 3 combat tours, 2 to iraq and one to afghanistan. As an infintry man, i never imagined jumping out of a perfectly flown aircraft for a living, let me tell you, it was an experience of a life time, have many good and bad memories. Its amazing how fast you mature when you have bullets and bombs flying over head but if it wasnt for my enlistment i would not be where i am today.

After my contract was over, i did not waste any time and that same day i got on a plane and headed back to California.  I enrolled at Carbrillo College in fall of 2007 and havnt looked back ever since.  I am on my last year at cabrillo and hopefully i will be recieving my AS in Engineering.
